Ante Sladić Winery

The Ante Sladić Winery, located in the village of Plastovo near Skradin, nurtures a long family tradition of winemaking. Led by agronomist and oenologist Ante Sladić, the winery continues the legacy established by Marinko Sladić, with a special focus on cultivating indigenous varieties such as Debit, Lasina, Maraština, Plavina, Tribidrag, and Babić. The vineyards are situated on the hills above Skradin, in a unique microclimate shaped by the Krka River and the Adriatic Sea, at an altitude of 250 meters. Limestone-rich soils full of minerals, along with diverse terrains ranging from fertile to barren, allow for the production of wines in various styles – from sparkling and still wines to high-quality Prošek. The winery specializes in producing single-varietal wines, categorized into three lines. The first line comes from vineyards on more fertile soils, resulting in elegant, fresh, and easy-drinking wines, including Debit, Maraština, and Lasina Opol. The second line comes from older vineyards with skeletal soils, lower yields, and meticulous grape selection, featuring Lasina, Maraština, and Debit Oya Noya. The third line reflects the ruggedness of the karst and the southern hillside locations, producing concentrated and powerful wines with high aging potential, such as Tribidrag. In addition to wines, the winery produces extra virgin olive oil from indigenous varieties. At their tasting room, the Sladić family welcomes guests with carefully selected gastronomic delights, blending tradition with a modern approach. The quality of their wines and oils has been recognized with numerous awards, with special recognition from the prestigious Decanter competition.
