Bire Winery

Winery Bire, located in Lumbarda on the island of Korčula, owes its success to Frano Milina Bire, who revived the cultivation of the indigenous white grape variety Grk and restored the traditional terraced vineyards, dormant for over 100 years. His vineyard also holds the distinction of being the first certified organic vineyard on the island. Alongside Grk, they cultivate Plavac Mali, producing four wine labels: two from Grk, one from Plavac Mali, and a Rosé. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings at the winery, savoring the essence of these exceptional wines.
