About winery
The Bunčić Winery is located in the town of Vis, within a family home and a beautiful terraced garden filled with flowers, lemons, and aromatic herbs, offering a charming view of the Vis bay. Toni Bunčić, a micro-winemaker with about 1 hectare of vineyards, produces three exceptional wines: Voščice white, a white blend named after the position, made from the varieties Kuč, Rukatac, and Kurtelaška, as well as a red wine from the Plavac Mali variety and occasionally a Prošek, also made from Plavac Mali. In addition to wine, Toni is known for his cosmetic products based on island herbs, which are ordered from all over Croatia. In winemaking, he applies a minimal intervention approach, creating wines intended for quicker consumption while maintaining high-quality concentration and ambition.
