Đilas Winery

Đilas Winery is a small, family-run garage winery located in the hidden bay of Zaglav on the island of Korčula. Founded on a deep love for viticulture and respect for tradition, the winery cultivates indigenous grape varieties and produces characterful wines in limited, carefully crafted batches. Their signature wine, Buška, is made from the Plavac Mali variety, grown in the exceptional vineyard position of Defora. Much like the famed Dingač, Buška benefits from three sources of sunlight – direct rays from above, reflection off the sea, and warmth radiating from the karst stone. After two years of aging in Slavonian oak barrels, Buška develops a deep ruby color. The aroma is dominated by ripe berries, while the tannins are rounded and mature, giving the wine a rich structure and an authentic Korčula character. In addition to Buška, Đilas Winery offers three more labels, including a fresh and elegant rosé wine, and a wine made from the native white variety Pošip, known for its Mediterranean freshness, minerality, and complexity.
