Dražina Winery

A small family winery located in Pristeg, a village in the Ravni Kotari region near Benkovac, has been cultivating indigenous grape varieties with love and passion since 1997, preserving the area’s rich winemaking tradition. Founded by Krešimir Dražina, the winery is now led by the next generation—Kristina and Ante—who, after years spent in Germany, decided to return to Croatia and dedicate themselves to winemaking, fulfilling a long-held family vision. The vineyards are situated in the unique Bile Njive location, once a rugged karst terrain, now transformed into a thriving vineyard oasis with fertile soil and ideal conditions for cultivating indigenous grape varieties. Respecting tradition, the winery cultivates Pošip, Maraština, Svrdlovina, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Crljenak. The wines are crafted with precise vinification and the application of the most advanced agricultural techniques, earning numerous awards in Croatia and worldwide. The current selection includes two labels—Pošip 2022 and Maraština 2022—with Maraština winning a silver medal at the prestigious Decanter 2023 wine competition in London.
