About winery
The Duvančić Agrotourism estate is located on a stone property dating back to the 19th century, which Marko Duvančić restored in 1998 when he decided to open his family farm and winery. It is situated in the village of Razvođe, near Drniš, surrounded by vineyards at the foot of Mount Promina. In addition to the winery, the estate includes the Pilipovi Dvori restaurant and unique accommodation in 150-year-old wine barrels, offering guests an authentic stay in the heart of the Dalmatian hinterland. Marko Duvančić grew up in this region, and apart from studying agronomy in Zagreb, he has dedicated his entire life to his family estate. His family has been engaged in viticulture for generations, though they primarily produced wine for personal use. His passion for vineyards led him to start planting vines and working on the family estate during his university years. Today, he manages five hectares of vineyards and has been cultivating the winemaking tradition for nearly 30 years. As an innovative winemaker, Marko is a pioneer in developing completely natural wines. In collaboration with engineer Martin Krstić and economist Zvonimir Bešlić, he developed a revolutionary technology for vineyard protection using UVC light. Their company, Food4People, was the first to apply this method outdoors, replacing pesticides and copper sulfate with UV rays. The result is Ma and Pa – Croatia’s first 100% natural wines. The white blend of Maraština and Debit, as well as the red wine made from Plavina and Lasina, stand out for their light and drinkable character, faithfully reflecting the terroir of the Šibenik region. A total of 4,500 bottles were produced, with the first one gifted to Pope Francis as a symbol of innovation and tradition united in a single drop of wine.
