Miljas Winery

Miljas Winery is located in Konavle, on the slopes of Snježnica, where the vineyards of Dubrovnik Malvasia are found, which has made the winery well-known. Their wine made from Crljenak from the 2020 vintage won a silver medal at the prestigious Concours Mondial wine competition. The winemaking tradition in the Miljas family dates back over a hundred years, and today it is led by the fourth generation, which applies the latest technology to produce top-quality wines from indigenous varieties such as Dubrovnik Malvasia, Grk, Maraština, Crljenak, and Plavac Mali. After the war devastations, brothers Miho and Ivo restored the family winery in 2001 and revived the vineyards, especially the indigenous varieties Grk and Dubrovnik Malvasia. Miljas Winery was among the first in Konavle to receive the authenticity label for its quality wines. Today, under the leadership of young oenologist Zvonko Miljas, the winery continues to improve the quality of wines, which are recognized as some of the best in the region and are available in top Dubrovnik restaurants and hotels.
