Poljak Winery, though young, has gained recognition over fifteen years of dedication and passion reflected in its wines. Located in the picturesque Diklo area of Zadar, right by the sea, it offers an authentic wine experience. The vineyards are situated in the Benkovac-Stankovci wine-growing region, on the highest positions of Bukovica, one of northern Dalmatia’s premier viticultural areas. With a southern orientation and abundant sunlight, along with the characteristic Dalmatian karst terroir featuring a limestone rock skeleton, the conditions allow for the production of wines of exceptional quality. A unique microclimate, where Mediterranean and continental influences intersect, further enhances the richness and complexity of flavors. The winery is led by its founder, Trifun Poljak, who has transformed his international wine expertise into a vision of producing top-quality wines. Poljak Winery offers six wine labels: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Merlot Trifun, Syrah, Maraština, and Cuvée—a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. All wines are available for tasting and purchase at the winery, where guided wine tastings are also organized, allowing visitors to indulge in the unique flavors of this exceptional terroir.
