About winery
Vinketa Winery is located in the picturesque village of Nadin, surrounded by pristine nature and vineyards stretching to the horizon. In 2020, Vedran, the son, took over the family farm from his father Živko and began producing premium wines. Over the years, the winery has won numerous awards and recognitions, confirming the right decision to continue the family tradition, while constantly improving with new technologies, equipment, and barrique barrels. The wines are made from indigenous varieties of the Ravni Kotari region, such as Debit, Maraština, Pošip, and Plavina, as well as wines from international varieties like Grenache Noir, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinketa Winery offers eight wine labels: “Debit,” “Rose Mara” from the indigenous Plavina variety, “Plavina,” “Grenache Noir,” “Cabernet Sauvignon,” “Merlot,” “Syrah,” and “Cuvee,” a wine blend of Syrah and Grenache.
