About winery
Zoro Winery, owned by the Zore family from Popovići in Konavle, nurtures a winemaking tradition that spans over 500 years. Historical records show that as early as 1841, the family was not only producing wine for personal use but also running a wine trade business in Cavtat. After the war, they decided to revive the family legacy and in 2007 planted a new vineyard on two hectares of their own and partially leased land in the Konavle Field, at the micro-location of Grabovnica. The winery has earned international recognition—its 2022 Dubrovnik Malvasia won a gold medal at the prestigious Decanter competition in London, becoming the highest-rated Croatian wine of this variety in the history of the event. The vineyard consists of approximately 7,000 vines, and the winery also sources grapes from other local Konavle growers. In addition to Malvasia, they cultivate Plavac mali, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Marselan.
