Bužić Winery

Bužić Winery from Križevci nurtures a long-standing family tradition in agriculture. Today, the family proudly counts four agronomists—alongside the spouses Gordan and Dragica, their sons Marko and Denis have also earned degrees in agronomy. The winery’s main activities are crop farming and wine production. Their vineyards grow Graševina, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Traminac, with special attention given to the “Zaksten” variety, a unique blend of Graševina, Pinot Gris, and Yellow Muscat. The winery aims to expand its current vineyards and further develop its winemaking tradition. This year, Bužić Winery achieved remarkable success by winning three gold medals for its Sauvignon, Solaris, and Traminac wines. Sauvignon stood out in particular, earning 85 points and being named Champion of the Exhibition. This prestigious award was presented at the 15th Wine Review Exhibition, organized by the “Sveti Vinko” Association of Vinegrowers and Winemakers from Sveti Petar Orehovec, which also held its annual assembly on the occasion.
