Darko Vrbanek Winery

The Vrbanek estate has a long tradition in viticulture and winemaking. They took their first serious steps as entrepreneurs in winemaking in the 1990s, after the cessation of Badel’s operations in the Vivodina area. At that time, they organized independent wine production and renovated their vineyards by planting high-quality varieties. Today, they manage 4.5 hectares of vineyards, and tradition, experience, and a passion for agricultural development, combined with modern technology, are the key principles driving their business, with all family members involved. Owner Darko Vrbanek, a graduate agronomist, proudly offers four wine varieties: Graševina, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, and Muscat Yellow, all with controlled geographical origin. Their wines have received numerous gold medals at international and domestic competitions in Slovenia and Croatia. In 2024, a redesign of the labels was introduced. The new design, with a restructured layout of elements, adds a touch of elegance and reflects the product’s quality.
