deMar Winery

Although Mario Funtek and Dejan Levanček have only been seriously involved in winemaking since 2016, their wines have already made a significant impact on the Croatian and international wine scene. Their winery, deMar—named by combining the owners’ names, Dejan and Mario—is located in Komarnica Ludbreška, within the Ludbreg wine region. In just a few years, deMar wines have regularly earned national and international accolades. Their greatest achievement so far came in 2022, when their 2020 Graševina vintage was awarded a gold medal with an impressive 96 points at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards in London. The winery occupies just under half of the total 600 m² property, and offers wines made from Chardonnay, Graševina, Rhine Riesling, Yellow Muscat, Muscat Ottonel, and Pinot Gris.
