About winery
Kocijan Winery is located at the very entrance to Štrigova from the direction of Čakovec, in the northwestern part of Croatia, near the Slovenian border. The Kocijan family began planting vineyards in the 1980s, and in 1993, Vladimir Kocijan started wine production. Today, his son Petar manages the winery and cultivates 8 hectares of vineyards. The varieties grown include Pušipel, Sauvignon, Rhein Riesling, Green Silvaner, Chardonnay, Aromatic Traminer, and Cabernet Sauvignon. A standout product is the wine “Štrigovska Zvona,” a blend of Chardonnay, Rhein Riesling, Pušipel, and Graševina. The Kocijan family has received numerous gold and silver medals for their exceptional wines at exhibitions such as Vinovita, as well as wine fairs in Ljubljana, Kutjevo, and Mesap.
