Kojter Winery

Kojter Winery is located in Sveti Urban and is led by the experienced winemaker and viticulturist Anton Kojter, who has over 40 years of dedication to the craft. The family wine story has grown with the involvement of his son-in-law Damir Cafuk, as well as his daughters Rajna and Ramona, successfully passing on the tradition to new generations. At the heart of their work is a beautiful vaulted cellar over 200 years old—one of the most charming and authentic in the region.
The winery cultivates nine white varieties: Pušipel, White Pinot, Grey Pinot, Yellow Muscat, Chardonnay, Green Sylvaner, Riesling, Graševina, and Sauvignon. They also produce a fresh rosé from Pinot Noir. The largest plantings include 8,000 vines each of Graševina and Grey Pinot, 5,500 of Sauvignon, 4,000 of Yellow Muscat, 1,800 of Pušipel, and 1,500 vines each of White Pinot, Riesling, Green Sylvaner, and Pinot Noir.
The vineyards lie on sandy soils at elevations ranging from 300 to 315 meters above sea level, with notable locations including Vrbovica Breg, Martinovski Breg (famous for its Chardonnay), and Robadje.
Kojter wines are known for their high quality and authentic expression of the terroir. Their signature labels include Žuti Muškat, Zeleni Silvanac, Chardonnay, Pinot Crni Rosé, and Sauvignon. A particularly popular choice is their sought-after Cuvée, a blend of varieties enjoyed in numerous hospitality venues across Međimurje, Hrvatsko Zagorje, and Zagreb.
Over the years, the winery has won numerous awards at domestic and international fairs: gold medals for Graševina at Vinovita (2008 and 2009), a Gold Diploma at the Continental Wine Exhibition in Zelina (2015), gold at GAST 2016 for Pinot Bijeli 2013, and gold at GAST 2017 for Riesling 2015. Their Graševina also received a gold medal in Kutjevo, the capital of Graševina.
