Korenko Winery is located in Križevci, with vineyards spread across three locations: in Brckovčina, within the Mladina wine-growing region, in the Potkalnica municipality of Gornja Rijeka, and in Međimurje, known for its quality wines. The Koren family cultivates Graševina, Sauvignon, Silvanac Zeleni, Pinot Noir, Blaufränkisch, and Yellow Muscat. In the vicinity of Križevci, the Koren family has a winery and wine tasting room, where visitors can enjoy excellent company, local specialties, and fine wines. The winery is situated next to the chapel of St. Elizabeth, which the Koren family has renovated to attract visitors, and their cuvée wine – Elizabeta, a blend of Graševina and Sauvignon, is named after this chapel. The winery’s owner, Mario Koren, collaborates in the vineyards with his parents, Ljubomir, who passed on the love of viticulture, and Marina. The silhouette of his mother graces the label of their Graševina, which was drawn by his father, Ljubomir.
