About winery
Kosovec Winery, led by Ivan Kosovec, is located on the slopes of Moslavačka gora, in Popovača, where 3 hectares of ecological vineyards are situated in a unique location. Ivan, who grew up helping his grandfather in the cellar, continued his love for winemaking with studies in Poreč. He then bought overgrown land and transformed it into a vineyard. He planted varieties such as Škrlet, Chardonnay, Frankovka, Zweigelt, and Pinot Noir. His approach to production is based on manual labor, minimal protection, and avoiding artificial fertilizers and pesticides. With an annual production of around 15,000 bottles, Ivan has never sought recognition, instead finding inspiration in the legendary Ivan Enjingiju.
