Lagradi Winery has been a hidden gem of the Plešivica wine region for over a decade. Located in Vlaškovec, one of Plešivica’s most esteemed vineyard sites, this family-run boutique winery takes its name from “vLAškovečki vinoGRADi,” while its labels proudly feature the picturesque Žumberak hills. Founded by Ivan Velikanović, the winery is based entirely on estate-grown grapes, with six hectares of vineyards and an annual production of around 30,000 bottles of high-quality wines. By overseeing the entire process from vine to bottle, they ensure consistent quality. Combining modern technology with respect for natural winemaking and aging processes, the winery aims to bring out the best in each grape variety. Their portfolio includes Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Graševina, Riesling, Manzoni Bianco, and Yellow Muscat.
