Mahač Winery

The family-run Mahač Winery was established in 1975, the same year their Graševina won a gold medal at the 8th Wine Exhibition in Sveti Ivan Zelina. Located on the historic Martin Breg hill in Dugo Selo—where, according to records, the Templars cultivated vines over 800 years ago—the winery continues a long-standing tradition of viticulture and winemaking. The owner, Boris Mahač, also serves as president of the local association “Terra sancti Martini,” dedicated to preserving the region’s cultural and wine heritage. In 2024, the winery achieved new success by winning a gold medal for Sauvignon and a silver medal for Green Silvaner at the 56th Wine Exhibition of Continental Croatia, once again affirming its commitment to quality and excellence.
