Marija Kolarek Winery

Marija Kolarek Winery, located in Tužno, near Vidovec, has been dedicated to viticulture since 2005. The Kolarek family, led by Stjepan Kolarek, cultivates 10,000 vines, growing a mix of varieties and Graševina. Their Graševina has achieved outstanding success, notably winning a Gold medal at the prestigious Decanter competition in 2024, following a Bronze medal in 2023. The family’s winemaking tradition dates back to the 1970s when Stjepan’s father planted the first vineyard. Today, the winery sells up to 1,000 liters of wine annually, focusing on maintaining high quality rather than expanding production. Their commitment to quality is reflected in numerous awards at both local and international competitions.
