OPG Špoljar Winery

The Špoljar Family Farm from Maruševec specializes in the cultivation of blackberries and the production of blackberry wine, which is known as a natural remedy for low blood pressure, iron deficiency, and generally poor blood count. The Špoljar family has proudly maintained this production for many years, and their blackberry wine has won seven gold medals for quality. The family farm was established in 2016, initially planting 150 plants on an area of 900 square meters. Today, the farm has 700 blackberry plants covering half a hectare. In addition to blackberry wine, they produce fresh blackberries and a natural juice blend of blackberry and chokeberry. The farm is actively run by Josip Špoljar, the owner, his wife Dragica, son Davor, and daughter-in-law Ivana.
