Prekratić Winery

The Prekratić family’s winery is located in the small village of Dugnjevec, near Kumrovec, surrounded by greenery and hills. After completing the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb, Josip increasingly took over the responsibility of wine production from his father Milivoj. Their vineyards are situated on these nearby hills, offering a diverse range of varieties, with a special focus on Graševina, Silvanac Zeleni, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Frankovka. All their wines are produced and bottled on their family farm, with the signature wines being the Cuvée Zagorski Bregi and Graševina. The mature wines fully express the potential of their vineyards, with grapes coming from higher positions with favorable exposure. The wines age in wooden barrels or stainless steel, and later in bottles. Currently, they offer wines from the 2023 vintage, including four labels: Cuvée Zagorski Bregi, Cuvée Blanc, Graševina, and Riesling, as well as Frankovka from 2021. Their winery also offers wine tasting services, allowing visitors to enjoy their fine wines.
