Sever Winery

The Sever family has nurtured the tradition of grapevine cultivation for many years on the gentle slopes of Cesarska Hill. The favorable location and optimal sunlight allow them to produce grapes of exceptional quality, resulting in wines with a controlled designation of origin. Their vineyards, with around 32,000 to 36,000 vines, produce approximately 100 tons of grapes annually. Their offering includes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Graševina, Pinot Gris, and Riesling, with a particular highlight being the indigenous Sokol variety, known for its firm skin. The Sever wines regularly win gold medals and have been named county champions for wine quality multiple times. The winery is run by Filip and Jakov, with the support of their father Zvonko, continuing a family business that was started by Filip’s grandfather, with a strong focus on quality and tradition.
