Trdenić Winery

Located just outside Zagreb, on the gentle slopes of Moslavina Hill, in a picturesque landscape surrounded by vineyards and with views stretching all the way to Lonjsko Polje, lies the Trdenić family winery. With over a century of tradition in viticulture and winemaking, every vine and every bottle reflects its deep-rooted heritage. The winery nurtures a unique blend of rich tradition and a modern approach – with a passion for wine, dedication to family values, and a deep respect for the Moslavina terroir. Through continuous investment in state-of-the-art technology and ongoing professional development, it has established a recognizable standard of quality that defines its identity. Today, the winery cultivates 16 hectares of vineyards with over 85,000 grapevines, while its cellar has a capacity of 100,000 liters. A special place in the vineyard and in the winery’s story belongs to the indigenous variety Škrlet, whose first vine was planted back in 1914. Carefully nurtured through generations, Škrlet is now produced in three distinctive styles: young, aged, and sparkling. Although Moslavina is a small wine region, it boasts remarkable potential. In addition to Škrlet, varieties such as Pinot, Traminac, and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive in this area. Thanks to its unique terroir, the region is ideal for producing fresh summer wines, premium sparkling and rosé wines, as well as serious, age-worthy wines. The diversity and breadth Moslavina offers in winemaking are truly one of a kind. The winery’s offering includes several carefully curated wine lines: Classic Line – four labels: Škrlet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, and Rosé ; Sparkling Line – sparkling wine made from the Škrlet variety ; Reserva Line – three selected labels: Pinot Gris Founders Reserve, Pinot Noir, and Riesling Reserva ; Private Collection – an exclusive line featuring three meticulously chosen labels.
