About winery
Capo Winery is located in the Istrian village of Fernetići, near Brtonigla, and it opened its doors in 2009. The vineyards are situated on the Istrian red soil, known as terra rossa. Their offerings include indigenous Istrian varieties like Malvasia, as well as internationally renowned varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Sauvignon Blanc. At the end of 2011, they launched a line of aged wines called Capo Stellae, featuring varieties like Pinot Noir, Malvasia, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. The wines in this line are named after zodiac signs. The following year, they expanded the Capo Stellae range with combinations of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
