The Arman family, led by skilled winemakers Franco and Oliver, continues to uphold the traditions of their ancestors who began cultivating grapevines back in 1850. The beauty and value of the vineyards were the essence of life and the strongest foundation for the survival of Istrian families.
Over the past fifty years, grandfather Edoardo Arman dedicated his life to planting Malvasia and Teran. Through hard work imbued with indescribable love, he elevated the art of making “good” wine to its peak. Today, building on this priceless tradition, the Arman family consistently raises their wines to new heights of excellence.
Thanks to the knowledge accumulated from a young age, Franco and Oliver employ the most advanced oenological technology to produce their wines through natural processes. In stainless steel tanks, five meters underground, they create young, fresh wines with rich aromas. The more mature, complex, and full-bodied wines are aged in large wooden barrels and barrique casks, surprising even the most discerning wine connoisseurs. Their portfolio features a diverse range of wines, from Malvasia and Chardonnay to Merlot and Teran. Franc Arman winery manages 19.6 hectares of its own vineyards and sources grapes from an additional 10 hectares of partner vineyards. Annually, they produce 100,000 bottles of wine across 12 different labels.
