Fuhtar Winery

The Fuhtar family begins their serious wine story in Nedešćina in 2015 when Piero takes over production from his father, Walter. Over the course of several years, they plant new vineyards, expand production, and in 2017, they launch their first series of labels on the market.
They started with 1000 vines, and currently cultivate just over 2 hectares of their own vineyards with continuous growth. Their vineyards are located at about 300 meters above sea level in Nedešćina, Šumber, and Kršan on shallow bauxite red soil, which gives their wines that special something.
In their offer, they have 5 regular wine labels (Istrian Malvasia, Teran, Merlot, Rose, and Yellow Muscat), and they produce a special line of wines aged for one year in the sea, which makes them unique.
