About winery
Family winery Geržinić is located in the picturesque village of Ohnići, between Kaštelir and Vižinada. With ten hectares of vineyards, Geržinić Winery offers around ten wine labels, recognizable by the symbol of a rooster on its bottles. In their vineyards, indigenous grape varieties such as istrian malvasia and teran prevail, but international varieties such as chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, and yellow muscat also thrive. Red varieties like merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and syrah also achieve commendable results.
Geržinić wines have been awarded numerous accolades both domestically and internationally. Particularly noteworthy are their fresh Istrian Malvasia and aged Teran. Their rosé made from Teran, a long-time favorite among wine enthusiasts, is renowned as one of the best rosés in Istria, perfect for enjoying on warm summer days.
