Giulio Ferenac Winery

The history began in the late 1980s when Marcelo Ferenac, with the help of his son Giulio, modernized production and the cellar, setting a new direction. Today, Giulio Ferenac cultivates four hectares in micro-locations Verbinac, Doci, Jadro, and Bosinac on deep red soil. Their range includes Istrian Malvasia, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Annual production reaches about 20,000 liters with five wine labels and bulk wine available. Their flagship is the fresh istrian malvasia, with excellent results also achieved with the cuvée “San Lorenzo”, a classic Bordeaux blend named after the patron saint of Vižinada. The small wine cellar has been part of the family home for over two hundred years, symbolizing tradition and expertise in winemaking.
