Ipša Winery

The Ipša family estate has been dedicated to producing extra virgin olive oils and wines for over 20 years. Nestled in the village of Ipši, beneath the picturesque town of Oprtalj in northwestern Istria, at an elevation of 200 meters above sea level and near the Slovenian border, the estate is surrounded by beautiful olive groves. In 1998, they decided to revive the family tradition of olive growing, and after many successful years, in 2010, they embarked on wine production.
Ipša’s vineyards are situated in three locations: Santa Elena, Ipši, and Oprtalj. These vineyard sites provide optimal sun exposure and constant air circulation, resulting in healthy crops and exceptional grape quality. They are present on the wine scene with six wine labels. They cultivate Istrian Malvasia, Pinot Gris, Refosco, and Teran, focusing exclusively on the production of macerated and aged wines.
Visitors can enjoy tasting these wines, along with their olive oils and other delicacies, in a modern tasting room that offers an unforgettable sensory experience.
