Ivan Katunar Winery

The Ivan Katunar Winery is located in the picturesque village of Vrbnik on the island of Krk. The commercial journey of the family wine story began with the first bottles from the 1989 vintage. Ivan Katunar and his family continue this wine tradition, committed to enriching the land and introducing new technologies in grape and wine production, while highlighting the significance of wine in everyday life.
The vineyards extend across the Vrbnik field and the Krasina location, known for their exceptional conditions for growing vines and ensuring high-quality grapes. The winery is housed in a building originally constructed in 1963, with an additional two floors added in 1987. In 2017, the wine house received a new visual identity, along with expanded production and sales areas and the construction of a modern tasting room.
Ivan Katunar Winery offers guided wine tastings, cellar tours, and the opportunity to learn about the indigenous wines of the Kvarner region and the rich winemaking tradition of the Katunar family.
