Kadum Winery

Kadum family Winery, located in the outskirts of Buići near Poreč, inherits a rich history dating back to 1882, when Ivan Radolović-Mateus managed a sprawling estate of sixty hectares of vineyards and olive groves, becoming a prominent landowner in the Poreč region. After his passing, due to unfortunate events, the estate was divided, and subsequent heirs continued vineyard cultivation and winemaking strictly for personal use.
The cycle of life continues, with Darko Kadum, whose mother Nela is the great-granddaughter of Ivan Radolović, inheriting the remaining estate and following in his great-grandfather’s footsteps. In 2012, together with his wife Luana, Darko began the revitalization of the estate, planting the first olive grove and two hectares of vineyards on deep red soil in Bujići. Their son Ivan joined the business in 2019, further expanding the estate and planting new vineyards.
Today, Kadum Winery cultivates six hectares of vineyards and two hectares of olive groves.
