Monticello Winery

Monticello Winery is located in the istrian village of Završje, situated between Grožnjan and Oprtalj at an altitude of 240 meters. The Pincin family is one of the few families that remained in this area and continued the old tradition, running their own agritourism for many years.
Today, the Pincin family cultivates three hectares of vineyards on white soil with a marl-sandy composition, typical for this region. Due to the terrain configuration, the vineyards are traditionally planted on terraces, which require a lot of manual labor. Their assortment includes Istrian Malvasia, Teran, Cabernet Sauvignon, and White Muscat, all of which pair excellently with the specialties they offer to guests on their estate.
The annual production amounts to about 10,000 liters of wine, of which a smaller portion is bottled, while the larger part is sold as open wine. In addition to vineyards, they also cultivate 800 olive trees, producing excellent extra virgin olive oil, which, like their wines, has won numerous awards at exhibitions throughout Istria and the region.
