Pavlomir Winery

Miroslav Palinkaš, whose family has a long tradition of grape and wine production originating from Šarengrad (Srijem wine region), now leads the Pavlomir Winery. Pavlomir owns 40 hectares of land, with 31 hectares dedicated to vineyards. At the heart of the vineyards, there is a cellar, tasting room, and shop that attract many visitors today.
In 2021, Pavlomir expanded by opening a wine shop in Crikvenica.
Over twenty years of work, Pavlomir has created wines that, according to experts, compete with the world’s finest. Palinkaš places special focus on the local Žlahtina variety, which he has reintroduced to the Vinodol region. In addition to Žlahtina, they cultivate other varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Pinot Blanc, and Muscat.
The winery’s success is evident in numerous awards, including gold medals at Vinistra in 2021 and 2022, as well as a Decanter silver and two bronzes in 2022. That same year, Pavlomir also won second place in the Annual Awards for the Best Farm, *Zlata vrijedan* (“Worth Its Weight in Gold”).
