Šipun Winery

Šipun Winery is located in the medieval coastal town of Vrbnik on the island of Krk. The vineyards are divided between a valley in the west and hillside plots where the island’s bora wind prevents fungal infections on the grapes. The Dobrinčić family’s tradition of growing grapes spans several generations, with commercial wine production being a more recent development. The vineyards are planted with white varieties typical of Croatia’s coastal region, such as Žlahtina, Jarbola, and Beline, as well as red varieties like Sansigot, Kamenina, and Debejan.
The Dobrinčić family produces high-quality wines, currently offering five different labels. Their range includes the white wine Žlahtina, the red wine Sansigot, and the rosé Trojišćina, all under the Šipun name, as well as the red wine Kapitul and the sparkling wine Maličić.
