Sosich Winery

The Sosich family winery has been nurturing a rich tradition of viticulture and winemaking since 1850. The modern era began in the early 1990s when Giorgio Pilato and his son-in-law, Bruno Sošić, revived the family business. After their passing, the young Adriano Sošić took over the winery, continuing to build on the family legacy.
Today, Sosich winery cultivates eight hectares of vineyards located in prime areas between the Mirna River Valley and the road connecting Kaštelir and Vižinada—a region renowned for its top-quality vineyards. They also purchase additional grapes from trusted partners around Vižinada.
Their vineyards grow varieties such as Istrian Malvasia, Chardonnay, White Muscat, Teran, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery markets about fifteen wine labels and a selection of liqueurs. Sosich Winery features a beautifully designed tasting room for visitors, and their wines are available at their own retail locations in various tourist spots across Poreština.
