Stancija Collis Winery

The history of Stancija Collis begins in 1988 when the spouses Carmen and Mirko Mastilović started building their oasis of peace in the untouched nature near Rovinj. “Collis” is derived from the Latin word for hill, as the estate is located on a hilltop offering a magnificent view of the entire Rovinj archipelago all the way to the Brijuni Islands.
When they started building the estate, the Mastilović couple planted a small vineyard and olive grove, but they never imagined that their son Juraj would fall in love with the wine story and that the Collis estate would develop into its present form. Juraj graduated in oenology from the Poreč Institute and diligently learned and gathered knowledge in various wineries from Istria to New Zealand from the start. In 2015, he conducted the first independent harvest at the Collis estate from the existing vineyards, which have since expanded.
Today, they are present on the market with six wine labels, among which stand out two labels of Istrian Malvasia, an elegant rosé, and a splendid Bordeaux blend, along with extra virgin olive oil. At Stancija Collis, numerous animals live in symbiosis, among which the Istrian donkey deserves special mention, whose medicinal milk you can also buy here.
