Valenta Winery

The Valenta family had been engaged in viticulture for generations as a hobby. However, in 2017, Valter Valenta, along with his sons Stiven and Ivica, decided to elevate this passion to a new level, founding one of the youngest wineries in Istria. Valter, with extensive experience from Agrolaguna, and his sons, still active in other professions, quickly gained recognition in the wine world. Their wines rapidly became popular, and today they manage 15 hectares of vineyards around Motovun, an area known for its white soil.
Their varietal range primarily includes indigenous grapes like Istrian Malvasia and Teran, which perform excellently in the Motovun region. They also cultivate white Muscat and the increasingly preferred sauvignon blanc. With five wine labels on the market, the Valentas plan to build a boutique winery with full facilities.
