The Vorić Winery cultivates six hectares of its own vineyards across two locations, each three hectares in size. Located near Buje, on the Contarini and Ferne sites, they grow white grape varieties such as Istrian Malvasia and Viognier, while red varieties Teran and Cabernet Sauvignon are cultivated on red soil near Vižinada.
The annual production of Vorić winery is 20,000 liters of wine, with one-third marketed in bottles and two-thirds as bulk wine. Bepo has already received numerous awards for his wines at Istrian wine events.

Tastings, visits and bookings are arranged directly with the winery. Croatian Wineries does not take reservations.

Josip Bepo Vorić

Josip Bepo Vorić comes from a traditional Istrian family where both sides, maternal and paternal, were involved in viticulture. Therefore, in 2001, he completed his education at the Viticulture Institute in Poreč. Josip is one of several specific Istrian winemakers who simultaneously engage in hospitality and winemaking. Bepo and his wife Karmen have been very successfully managing the Aquarius Pizzeria – Tavern in Buje for many years, an essential eno-gastronomic destination for numerous domestic and foreign gourmets. It is common for restaurants to offer good food but have problematic wine offerings. This is not an issue here because the owner takes care of the quality of both.
