About winery
Apolitico Winery is located in the Rezovac vineyards, near Virovitica, and is designed according to the latest standards, equipped with top enological technology. It was founded by Tomislav Tolušić, who established his wine brand, Apolitico. A special part of the cellar houses large and small oak, wild cherry, and chestnut barrels, with coopers using only the highest quality Croatian wood. Additionally, the winery stands out for its hand-crafted Qvevri (amphorae) from Georgia, in which, among the few in Croatia, top-quality red wines with unique aromas and flavors are produced. The modern approach to production is reflected in the use of contemporary equipment, inox tanks, and temperature control, ensuring the high quality of wines that respect the nature and character of the Slavonian terroir. The winery offers three wine lines: Fresh Wines, Aged Wines, and Dessert Wines, with a total of 11 labels. Fresh wines include Graševina, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Rosé from Pinot Noir. Aged wines feature Cabernet Franc, Čaruga (a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, awarded silver and bronze medals at Decanter World Wine Awards 2021 and 2023), Maestoso (Chardonnay, bronze medal at Decanter), as well as Anđeo s greškom Red (a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Frankovka) and White (a blend of Chardonnay and Graševina), both awarded at Decanter. The winery also features a modern tasting room, offering the possibility of individual and group visits, including a tour of the winery and a tasting of top wines and authentic Croatian delicacies.
