About winery
Apostol Winery is located in Trnava, near Đakovo, and proudly produces premium wines from varieties such as Graševina, Chardonnay, Zeleni Silvanac, Traminac, Zweigelt, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Its owner, Dr. Igor Lukačević, an electrical engineer with a PhD in chaos theory, brings a unique perspective to viticulture in his hometown. While Trnava is known for its vineyards, Lukačević believes that there are very few true winemakers in the area. His family’s winemaking tradition was modest, with a small vineyard tended by his father. However, his serious entry into the wine industry happened in 2007 while he was still living in Osijek. Today, Apostol Winery manages eight hectares of vineyards, combining a modern approach with the rich winemaking tradition of this part of Slavonia.
