Belje Winery

Located on the slopes of Banovo Brdo, in the heart of the vineyards, Vina Belje Winery blends rich tradition with modern technology. Spanning over 10,000 m², the complex includes a wine pavilion and a winery open to visitors through organized tours. The history of Belje dates back to 1697 when Prince Eugene of Savoy, awarded an estate between the Danube and Drava, established an agricultural estate and developed viticulture in Kneževi Vinogradi. Today, his vision lives on through Vina Belje, whose vineyards cover the slopes of Banovo Brdo, providing ideal conditions for growing varieties such as Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Graševina, Frankovka, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery has categorized its wines into several lines:
Cuvée Line – three exceptional wines that captivate with their freshness and complexity of flavors: Cuvée Blanc, Cuvée Rosé, and Cuvée Rouge.
Select Line – wines distinguished by their fruitiness and minerality, with Graševina Select standing out as a multi-award-winning wine with international recognition. This line includes a total of five labels.
Premium Line – high-quality yet widely available wines made from grapes harvested from prestigious locations on Banovo Brdo, featuring ten labels in total.
Goldberg Line – the most luxurious selection of Belje wines, crafted from grapes harvested in late and selected harvests, available in dry and semi-dry styles, with three exclusive labels.
Sparkling Wines – three labels of premium sparkling wines that further enhance the winery’s offering.
Vina Belje Winery is not only a producer of top-quality wines but also an attractive tourist destination. Visitors can explore the modern winery with nearly 250 wine tanks or venture into the protected medieval cellar in Kneževi Vinogradi, where three levels of corridors filled with Slavonian oak barrels house a rich wine archive. The tasting room, designed in an authentic Baranja style, is the perfect place to discover the finest Belje wines, paired with traditional meat delicacies such as Baranja kulen. Over the years, Vina Belje has won numerous awards and medals, solidifying its excellence in both the domestic and international wine scene.
