Jakobović Winery

The Jakobović family has been nurturing a century-old winemaking tradition, as evidenced by the old barrels that are still carefully preserved today. Branko Jakobović from Vetovo, together with his family, creates premium wines, constantly expanding the assortment and additional services. Professional winemaking began in 1995 when the first certifications for wines with a geographical designation were obtained, followed by the registration of a grape and wine production business in 1996. The winery’s vineyards are located on the sunny and airy southern slopes of Papuk, at an altitude of approximately 260 meters, above Vetovo – in the heart of the Kutjevo wine region, one of the finest in Croatia. These exceptional locations are home to premium grape varieties: Graševina, Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling, Yellow Muscat, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery offers 14 wine labels with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), earning prestigious awards and recognitions year after year. Within the winery, a modern tasting room with a capacity of 50 guests provides an opportunity for visitors to enjoy expertly curated tastings led by a professional sommelier. Every glass of wine reflects the perfect blend of tradition, heritage, and continuous investment in quality and innovation.
