Podrumi Kolar Winery

The Kolar family farm from Suza is engaged in growing field crops, viticulture, wine production, and hospitality. In 2004, they opened Podrumi Kolar – a wine tasting room with a restaurant – with the goal of offering guests a rich selection of their own wines paired with traditional homemade specialties. They started modestly, gradually expanding their business over the years, building on the tradition of a cellar inherited from their grandfather. Their wines are carefully and lovingly aged in traditional Baranja “gators,” cellars carved into loess hills. The winery offers ten different wine varieties, including two cuvées and three barrique-aged selections. Their assortment includes Graševina, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, aromatic Traminer, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Blaufränkisch, as well as Cuvée Suminer. In addition to premium wines and gourmet delights, they also offer accommodation in three high-category double rooms.
