PP Orahovica Winery

Agricultural Company Orahovica, founded in 1963, is one of the leading wine names in Slavonia. On 175 hectares of its own vineyards located in the pristine nature near Papuk and Krndija, it cultivates Graševina, Silvanac Zeleni, Frankovka, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, and Rhine Riesling. The vineyards are spread across ten prestigious locations: Jezerac, Krčenik, Velike Ledine, Martin, Albus, Grabovi, Lipovac, Toplice, Ribnjak, and Sićevo. The specific terroir, with gentle hills and foggy mornings along the Drava River, creates ideal conditions for top-quality wines. Silvanac Zeleni stands out particularly, achieving exceptional quality due to the natural balance of the soil and minimal vineyard intervention. In addition to Green Silvanac, PP Orahovica also offers rosé wine, Frankovka, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Graševina labels. With a centuries-old tradition of viticulture, PP Orahovica also engages in crop farming, livestock, fruit, and fish production, managing over 10,760 hectares of cultivable land and employing over 300 staff. It is also the leading hazelnut producer in Croatia and owns the most modern facility for their processing. Under the winery’s umbrella, a new prestigious wine line, Martin Albus, has emerged, blending tradition with modern enological standards, offering sophisticated labels like Pinot Gris, Sauvignon, Silvanac Zeleni, Grand Cuvée, Rosé, and Frankovka.
