Siber Winery

The vineyards of the Siber family farm are nestled on the gentle slopes of the Erdut wine region. The story began in 2003 when Mladen Siber, a retired dentist, decided to leave the practice to his sons and move to Erdut with his wife, dedicating himself to new challenges in viticulture and winemaking. That same year, the first five hectares of vineyards were planted, focusing on Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Six years later, another five hectares were added, followed by the acquisition of two vineyards with Graševina and Chardonnay. Today, the winery cultivates around 13 hectares of vineyards and produces approximately 100 tons of grapes annually. Part of the harvest is processed into its own wines, while the rest is sold to winemakers across Croatia. From humble beginnings with 3,000 liters of wine, the winery has now reached an annual production of 25,000 liters. The offer includes premium wines from noble varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Yellow Muscat, with seven out of ten labels coming from these varieties. Thanks to his dedication to this noble grape, the winery’s founder has earned the nickname “Mister Sauvignon.” The uniqueness of the selection is highlighted by special editions like Sauvignon Orange 2019, a wine distinguished by its pure aroma and recognizable taste, despite six months of maceration. MS wine, an innovative blend of Muscat and Sauvignon, is another gem from the Siber cellar. Additionally, the winery offers wines from Graševina and Chardonnay, as well as an elegant rosé sparkling wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, which, without maceration, has retained its delicate white color, the freshness of the base wine, and the complexity acquired through years of aging on lees in the bottle.
