Soldo Winery

Soldo Winery was founded in 2011, and from the very beginning, the Soldo family—led by Gojko Soldo, together with his wife Gordana and their children, son Mirko and daughters Ana and Iva—built their own wine story. Gojko didn’t inherit the business; he was the creator of the family’s winemaking legacy. Today, his son Mirko manages the winery, while Gojko is in charge of the vineyards.
The winery cultivates Graševina, Chardonnay, Traminac, Pinot Gris, and Manzoni—a hybrid between Riesling and Pinot Blanc. Graševina is their best-selling wine. Red varieties include Merlot, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, and popular teinturiers such as Alicante and Gamay.
They produce around 60,000 liters of wine annually from just over 11 hectares of vineyards in Vetovo. All production is based on controlled fermentation, modern pneumatic pressing, and must flotation, using high technological standards.
The winery offers a wide selection of wines including Graševina, Chardonnay, Traminac, Sauvignon, Manzoni, Rizvanac, Merlot, red blends, Rosé, and sparkling wine. They take pride in numerous awards, among which the Champion title for their Fragrant Traminac in 2015 stands out.
The Soldo family is a great example of how dedication, knowledge, and vision can lead a young winery to success—even when competing with winemaking names backed by decades of tradition.
