Vojak Winery

ojak Winery, founded on April 1, 2004, in Požega, continues a rich family winemaking tradition dating back to the 1950s. Founder and owner Dinko Vojak carried on the legacy by planting the first vineyard under the family farm in 2005 in the renowned Kutjevo wine region, with 12,000 vines of red grape varieties. Three years later, the vineyard expanded with an additional 15,000 vines, following a high-density planting method to ensure lower yield per vine and superior grape quality. In addition to the vineyard in Kutjevo, the winery owns a vineyard in the historic Sokolovac area, part of the Požega wine region. This volcanic soil, rich in iron, is exceptionally suited for viticulture and has even been recognized in France. As early as the 20th century, friars cultivated white Pinot on this land, earning gold medals for their wines. Vojak Winery has successfully revived this variety in its original terroir. Their dedication to winemaking is confirmed by numerous awards. In 2009, their Graševina won a gold medal at the Vino Kap fair, while the Baun Franjo Trenk blend received silver in 2010. In 2012, Dinko Vojak was named the best young winemaker in Croatia at the prestigious international Vinovita fair in Zagreb.
